What Kesler CPA Does Well

It is now a genuinely complete CPA review course. This is the biggest change from earlier versions of Kesler. The old criticism that you needed another provider for core video instruction is no longer accurate. Kesler now has 913 Bite-Sized Video Lectures with 85+ hours of lesson-level teaching, a complete textbook, Study Notes, Audio Notes, a full MCQ bank, TBS practice, flashcards, and mentorship.

The teaching happens at two different levels. The Bite-Sized Video Lectures teach the lesson and the big picture. Then Learn N GO teaches at the point of practice with a question-specific lecture attached to every MCQ. That combination gives you a traditional learn-then-practice path without forcing you to search through a long lecture when one practice question exposes a specific gap.

Where Kesler CPA Falls Short (And I Know It)

I built this product, so the point of this section is not to manufacture criticism. It is to identify the trade-offs that could actually make another course a better fit for a specific candidate.

No built-in AI study assistant yet. This is the clearest feature gap in the current platform. Kesler gives you Learn N GO explanations, Expert Email Support, Focus Notes, and the private community, but it does not currently have an in-platform AI assistant that lets you ask unlimited follow-up questions and receive instant, contextual answers. If an always-available AI tutor is a must-have, this is a legitimate ding.

The TBS library is much larger than it used to be, but it is not the industry’s largest. Kesler now has 275+ task-based simulations, which is enough to make it a fully featured primary course, but candidates who want maximum simulation volume can still find larger libraries elsewhere. If sheer TBS count is your number-one buying criterion, Kesler may not be the strongest fit.

Mobile access is browser-based, not a native iOS or Android app. The current Kesler app works on mobile and desktop, stays synced, and can be added to your phone’s home screen. But candidates who specifically want a native App Store or Google Play app may prefer a provider built around that experience.

The lecture style is intentionally bite-sized. Kesler now has full lesson-level video instruction, so the old “no video lectures” criticism is outdated. But the 913-lecture library is designed around focused, shorter lessons rather than long classroom-style lectures. If you learn best from extended professor-led classes or live boot-camp style instruction, another provider’s teaching style may fit you better.
